Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park Trip
Our visit to Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park included a stay at the absolutely beautiful Juniper Lake, a visit to the top of Mt. Harkness and the historic fire lookout station located there, swimming in the very cold and clear-watered Juniper Lake, hiking to the top of Cinder Cone, and a visit to the boiling mud pots and steaming volcanic vents Bumpass Hell. It was a wonderfully beautiful trip, that included roughly 12 miles of hiking on dirt, rock and cinder, and (unfortunately) 650 miles of driving! I will add pictures as they become available. Even more pictures will be loaded onto the school ShutterFly picture site as they become available too..
